Aitken Retail was established in May 2015 by Richard Aitken MRICS, as an independent property investment advisor. Richard has in excess of 30 years experience advising private individuals, property companies, retailers, UK and overseas institutions on the sale and acquisition of commercial real estate, across the UK.
Aitken Retail specialises in high street properties, shopping centres and retail parks. Richard started his career in London at Churston Heard (which became part of JLL) and also spent time as a partner of other leading retail specialists, Douglas Stevens and Co and Reid Rose Gregory.
Since creating Aitken Retail, Richard has acted for Evolve Estates, Paloma Capital, Frogmore, UKAR, Palmer and Harvey and various high net worth private individuals.
Richard lives in Broxbourne in Herts with his wife, two children and Chester the dog, plays golf ( averagely badly ) at Essendon GCC and is an avid follower of Saracens RFC.
